Dunnville Sunday sept 10th

Oh yeah was anyone else timing? I know Marsh got some rough numbers:

Black FD3S = 1:15.05
Skyline GT-R = 1:15.25

I think the track record is 1:07 by open-wheelers (although I heard that like two years ago LOL)

Nice shots…And yes it was a great day, Thanks Dippy

Thanks for a great day again derek

The track is a fair bit different than it was up until late may/june when the turns were widened and a tight left hander was moved back and made more sweeping. I checked the solo1 lapping times and they are slow compared to what can be run on the track now.
I’m looking to get a hot lap timer for the next event. if i do i’ll lend it out.

how much was av fuel cost you?

I had 1:16.7 on the Skyline, but I only got on lap.

I was averaging 1:22, including catching and passing people. I managed one 1:20.6 while timing, I’m sure I was probably in the 1:21ish territory for most of the day whith nobody in front of me. Other miatas were similar 1:20 - 1:24.

I didn’t get any reliable times on any other cars. I think I remember getting a mid 1:23 on the black Mazda3 when he had a clear track, but I don’t know how hard he was pushing.

BTW I would guess I run high 18’s with my R’s. I think the car is capable of going a full second faster with a better driver.

Oh and 2G-Money, thanks for the pictures!

Check with the track. Some times there are rules against timing during lapping events. A person with a stop watch is excusable. I doubt it’s an issue, but it’s best to ask first.

I think it was like $1.25ish…not bad 94 its like $1.00 today.

But you have to bring your own Jerry can to fill, they won’t let you pull a car into the drop zone too much 100% pure adrenaline around there.

MARSH: I thought you said you got a 1:16:00 with a .75 slow stopwatch reaction LOL SO I was going off when we were talking around 2/10ths.

I was having a great time with the FD out there, it was pretty tight.

But they let jumpers drop on an active race track

I was behind the mazda 3 on a few laps seemed abit quiker than me as I seem to be running consistant 1:20-1:21 times ( with a best of 1:19.9 according to marsh) was that a mazda speed mazda 3? he seemed to walk away from me on the straights even when we seemed to be exiting the corner with similar speeds?

I seem to have lost amost 2 seconds off my times from the last event, I think I can maybe hit 1:18’s with alot of work and more balls.

Can’t be speed 3. it was a sedan.

So Derek, we gonna give it another go in Oct?

Just not the 7th cause I will be at TMP.

DP
