How do I rip a copy protected DVD and encode it as an SVCD or VCD?

i downloaded walking tall and it was as a MP3 file and plays fine on a CDR…
no… i’m trying to put a DVD in my drive, rip it, and then encode it as a VCD, so it’ll play in VCD + most DVD players.

plays MP3,kodak picture CDs, DVD, CD made by Mintek
its 2.5 years old and plays anything possible.

The oldest xbox drive is the Thompson… then Phillips, then Samsung. I have the Phillips and it plays everything. :hs:
