We all started somewhere. Give him a break. :poke:
So does that mean SUV’s are a permanent no-go on your dyno? I assume so and that it wasn’t just a different setup for the dyno day
the way the shop is designed makes it hard to get an SUV/ truck in there to even get to the dyno, and the wheel bases of a truck or SUV tend to be too long to correctly strap it to the dyno.
It’s a wheelbase issue. If it’s too long it won’t fit. About 9.5 feet is the max wheelbase so about the size of a BMW M5 or similar land barge.
hmm…mine is 113". that’s 9’5". Sounds like it would be tight but could go either way.
Thats my car. you got a problem with that 97hp? I bought this car as a project to start with just want to get some baseline number
so I see you drive a high speed car wow
He was just making a joke. Mark is a super cool dude. Plus this is NYSpeed, a lot of us like fast cars here. Please work on your English as well.
Guys please keep the trash talking in OT.
I don’t find that joke to be funny at all
liking fast car is one thing, bashing on someone elses slow car is another thing
they are not co related
please excuse my poor English, not everyone in this world is a native English speaker you know?
Make your dyno bigger, I want to see some dyno numbers.
Hah. In the future we may make a strapping system so we can run longer 2WD vehicles by only putting the drive wheels on the main rollers and having the rest of the vehicle sitting on the ramps. Currently there isn’t a good way to tie vehicles down in that position.
Well, let me know when you do that, I will let you shoe horn my truck back into the shop again.
Whens the next dyno day, in spring?
I don’t have the next one planned yet, but if we have a mild winter we may get one in before spring. We’ll have to see.
alright cool, can we also make an appointment and its the same rates? or are they different on a non dyno day
