HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WOWOWOWOWWOWOWOWOWOWOWWOWOWOWOW…K that’s all i have to say…ohh AWESOME JOB MATT!!!
 All hail the power of Z!
Great runs Matt! Just curious why you stopped at 5200. :?:
OMG, thats awsome
wow
congrats Matt, those are some mean numbers
Actually it didn’t stop at 5200, for some reason the graph cut off there? On my tach it was up to 6000.
It appears power production was all done by that point. If you look at all the SR20 power numbers you will see 4th gear is not bad for stock parts. Power dies before speed cut.
Old thread again - but it is relevent It seems quite alot of STs run around 1 bar stock (should be 0.7) You can run upto 1.2 with stock turbo the car really wakes up then. HOWEVER I DO WARN YOU. I recommend you take out the oxygen sensor NOW and replace it or even better block of where it sits at the moment and MOVE it to AFTER the exhaust turbine housing. YES thats right IF the lambda sensor on the march does fail and fall appart (they get VERY hot sitting before the turbo) It will DISTROY the turbo. I have been there done that - please learn from this before it happens to you because it is not possible to get new HT10 turbos.
Also if you ever run into probs give me a shout. I know alot about these little machines now.
Ed
Great tip Ed. I wonder why nissan put the o2 sensor before the turbine housing?
What kind of boost/mods are the SR guys rocking to hit the 240-250 hp mark?

What are you talking about? One dude happened to hit 17 lbs, and thats it.
T25’s shouldn’t go more than 15psi, otherwise they are past efficiency range. All of us near the 240 mark were about 14/15psi, fmic, 3" dp, 3" exhaust, and thats about it.

Did you happen to forget about Evans car??? As i recall his engine was completley stock except for a boost controller and exhaust, and i remember it hit 17 or 18 Lbs of boost.

I wish I could hit 240whp with those mods.

That was a once in a blue moon deal with Evans car, which is the one I was referring to in my post. Everyone was completely boggled by those numbers, so you shouldn’t by any means think that everyone with an SR is capable of those figures. I talked to the dudes at Phase2motortrend and happened to mention those numbers, and even them have never heard of a stock SR pulling those kinds of numbers.
Diverting the topic again, after the HT10 turbo on the March ST broke (due to the lambda sensor) I had a custom turbo built with a T25 compressor housing and the origional HT10 exhaust housing. I tried a freespool dyno run (yeah I know what I was doing) and the turbo hit a peak of 1.7 bar. The ECU then cut as the injectors maxed out.
So are you saying Evan put down bogus, non-repeatable numbers?
The a/f was still in the safe zone on all his pulls.
Nope, just saying that the numbers that he put down are not what SR’s of his modifications usually do
So when some kid goes out and purchases the same mod’s as Evan, doesn’t sit there and get all pissed cause he didn’t get the same numbers as Evan.
Everyone at the dyno day that day was stumped with those figures. It was legit, just… weird.
how much u guys think this will put out ?
- ca18 , s15 T28, 444 injectors, gt-r fuel pump, manifold, elbow, fmic ,3" dp , 3" exhaust
Depends who’s tuning. If it was my money I would buy a chip from Glenn “Lumpy” Campbell in australia. I would guess about 280-290 atw.
Depends on the boost you plan on running and tuning.
