Dyno Days

Since there are so many different kinds of cars on this site with so many different drive trains I think it would be cool if some of you guys with different types of cars could get together and make plains for dyno days here at the shop. It would be a great way for us to meet everyone on here and for you all to see our facility.

I was thinking something along the lines of this….

Diesel Dyno Day

AWD Dyno Day

RWD Domestic and Import

FWD Import and Domestic

We could do these on different Saturdays at a reduced rate if there was enough interest.

Shoot me some prices for a diesel dyno day with the email in my sig. Our shop could promote it, and I think we could get a lot of interest in this.

Few questions that I have …

What kind of dyno?

How high can you read tq #'s?

Can you get a dually on the rollers … or would dually owners be required to remove a wheel?

Ventalation? …

WOW:eek: … them shop pics are impressive!

an awd dyno is somthing in my future

I NEED a awd dyno tune.

are the diesel guys the only people that are going to chime in on this? or am i just going to have set dates and then change them 10 times becasue everyone “has something going on that weekend”? PM if you have an idea.

im down for a fwd dyno day… realy want to know what the strat will pull

I have 3 people not on this forum that are interested in an awd dyno day, but that depends on the prices and services offered.

I think distance may be a factor for a lot of people on here.

i like to get in with the diesel

also can you spray on the rollers

I know in today’s times of 4 dollar a gallon 93 octane and 5 dollar a gallon diesel that its hard to justify a 2 hour trip just to beat your car on a rolling roadway that goes nowhere, but come on it s fun!

The price would be 65 bucks (add 10 bucks for the diesel guys) for 3 baseline pulls with A/F ratios and printouts. You can spray if you wish and anything else you feel you need to do to beat your buddies numbers. It is a Superflow Dyno so as some of you know they “read low” but really they read right and everything else reads high.

That’s a damn good price. The trip may be well worth it.

Yes it is.

Mike,
Im trying to figure of a date that Andy and I can make it to tour the shop, and try to figure a solid date.

Woo Hoo!! Rolling Smoke! let me know when you wanna come up!

are you serious?

i use to live in brookvile and myself and my roommate drove to see the shop a couple times. its very impressive in person. looks like the nasa headquarters lol

 … I was thinking the same thing

mike i was talking to the burger king boys, I am actually redoing marks 84 mustang that caught on fire and turned into a marshmello, anyways are you guys getting into tuning imports as of yet. Specifically hondas?..also i would be down for coming up and seeing what kinda # i put down on a different dyno. I got tuned on a dynapak so im sure they will be a lot lower.

That is a shop. Impressive indeed.
It’s a shame you are 2 and a half hours away!!

Yes I know it’s a little bit of a poke for most everyone but i think well worth the trip! We are really busy right now planning our open house and cruse in on 6th of July and we have a guy coming in from Australia on the 12th to do a all day thrash on a bunch of new hemi cars and jeeps. But once all that is out of the way we are going to sit down and pick some dates for these different dyno days. I hope some of you can make the drive.
