So, while I was waiting for the alignment rack I got a quick dyno done to see how she’s doing. That’s a downshift at 3000rpms.
It’s an APR stage 2 car with just a downpipe and intake for mods. The intake does nothing IMHO, but I got it for free so why not.
Fwd? Upgraded fuel pump? Those are pretty good numbers. 2.0t’s are a lot of fun and do pretty well with bolt ons
FWD, stock everything except free intake, $100 ebay downpipe, APR tune.

I should add that the car run a 14 flat in the 1/4 with traction issues and no real way to launch the DSG.

I love my 2.0T even with just down pipe, catback and tune its a fun little car with the 6-speed manual.

yup… but the DSG is super fun, especially when paired with boost. no lift shifts are super fun and make cool noises.
What was the trap speed? I ran 12.6 with the exact same amount of power on the same dyno.
Any idea off the top of your head the weight difference between one of these and a mk6 gti?

I bet you dyno the exact same… catbacks don’t do much if anything on these, and I/C will only matter once in heatsoak. The limiting factor with stage 2 is the fuel pump so if you’re already maxed out other mods can’t overcome that.
$50 dyno pulls all day everyday at lifeline here in ROC if you want.
Might throw mine on the dyno this weekend just for shits and giggles.
