I’ve been looking for an Audi A3 for a while now to use as a winter car / Dog hauler and this one came up down there at the right price so I jumped on it.
It’s a 2006 2.0T (same as MK5 GTI) with DSG (w/ flappy paddles), Sport Package, Winter Package.
The car has 84,xxx miles, but got a brand new factory long block less than 1000 miles ago under the CPO warranty the previous owner had. This thing feels and drives like a brand new car.
I’ve already ordered the ebay 3" downpipe for $80, and then I’ll be taking advantage of APR’s $600 fully loaded ECU christmas sale and getting stage II installed:
So it should be a very fun little car.
I got the factory wheels with snow tires, not the ugly wheels in the pics. Tint and cosmetic mods will be happening soon also hopefully.
Sort of off topic, the combo of a Tdi and a dsg is terrible. Having driven both: 2.0tfsi or whatever the fuck it is with a dsg and a 2.0TDi with a dsg, the dsg is a day a night difference with the gasser. Sucks dicks and cocks with the TDi, for some reason. Its super delayed and unresponsive from a dead stop. The revs build to like 2k and then you’re off, just weird? Aside from that, it’s fine. I drove a 2011 Jetta SportWagen TDi with a dsg recently, brought it back from the test drive and ordered one with a six speed manual.
