Can somebody suguest a goooood dyno tuner in the syracuse area.
for what car?
I need to get one for my camaro, but its expensive -.- meh.
you say you NEED to get one, but wont because its expensive? i’m assuming your car is pretty modified then, why would you skimp out on the most important part which is the tune?!
edit don’t take that to personally, even though I quoted you this applies to alot of people out there
I’m assuming it’s not for an fbody since his sig is talking about cars that corner well
Going by his profile, it’s a civic…
yeah, thats pretty old. Its a supra with a 1jz single turbo and stinger standalone
Is there anybody on here with useful information. All I get is post needing to know whats in my car. I don’t know why you need to know whats in my car anyways. All I want to know is if there is any dyno tuners in syracuse.
If you don’t mind riding out to Rochester you should check in with STM. Emery will take care of you. http://www.streettunedmotorsports.com/
People ask what type of car you have because a lot of upstate ny tuners are model specific. I would suggest contacting Stinger and seeing if they have any local dealers that they suggest to tune your car.
Yeah, I need one.
Running with a mail order tune at the moment.
So it’s not like it’s not tuned… just, not tuned very well =)
edit;
I’m also holding out since I’m going to put on a 58MM TB to complete it… and I don’t really want to get it dyno’d, then put on the TB… then have to get it re-dyno’d.
usually you find a tuner for specific makes/models and go with their preferred ems, since you have the ems already you have to find someone who knows that system and your car to get a really good tune imo, you might be able to get it tuned by “anyone” but they probably wont be able to do it as fast, troubleshoot as effectively or put out as good of a tune as someone who is used to that particular set up
