Yea, from what I’ve read, the 6.2 sucks gas through a fire hose, no 2’s in the first digit of the mileage number for sure.
I test drove an e63 before buying the bmw… id be lying if i didnt say “the 10.2 mpg avg and peak around 18.6 mpg” didnt have a part in my buying decision… i drive farrr too much to have a 14-16 mpg average… that means i’d spend roughly 15 dollars a day on my daily commute… subway certainly isnt going to be able to pay for that.
Meh… If it happens it happens… I didn’t buy this car to drag race… I gotta keep a clean license and be responsible

I <3 the car… on some days i still wish i had bought a 996T, but it wouldnt be practical at all for me for a daily since i couldn’t even fit a hockey bag/sticks easily in the car

I would think the extra $40k would have had something to do with it. E63s and 335s aren’t exactly in the same price point.
i totally tried to justify it to myself… almost to a fault… but i just couldnt… especilly when it will be baby seat time in about a year… less if my wife gets her way…
meh… i was looking for a loaded cpo 335… and when i say e63, i meant e55 synonymously (the price difference was ~10k for the 63 though, not 40k) … however… i test drove a few e63’s with around 40k miles on them for $40k…
there are tons of e55’s from 20k-30k tack on an extended warranty, and id have been much cheaper than the 335… and faster… however, i didnt want a 4 door, or reliability problems, or 15 mpg on my 70 mile commute… no lets talk about burning up a set of tires every 10k miles…
didnt seem like the right decision at this stage of my life… i’ll buy one when I can afford to buy it a year old under factory warranty when i need 4 doors
