e36 328 sedan 5sp or NA Miata

It’s in bowling green kentucky. It sucks cause I stayed there for a night on tour. Didn’t see this till I got home, I would have checked it out. Sucks that school just started and I am taking a saturday class, but it’s only a day to go get it and come back, I would just rather wait to do it in the spring.

I’m gunna call him and see how low he’ll go.

Also definitely thinking about an NA Miata. 94-97 1.8 is preferred, as well as a hardtop and LSD.

I will never buy a car that someone repainted without masking the lock cylinders

This one is an hour south of binghamton:
97 miata 5 speed special edition

328is I was getting 28mpg on highway.
Civic get’s near 40mpg highway if I recall correctly…been awhile since my civ hit the highway but I know it’s up there.

MPG ain’t in the same league, then again neither are the driving experiences. LOL. BMW was such a beast and felt so solid!

Good eye, I will only get that if the guy will take like $3k.

Nice find, might call on that one.

I’ve seen 328i’s get 30mpg and some civic ex’s only get 35mpg so they aren’t that far off. But for what I’ll spend on a civic ex I’d much rather drive a miata or 328i.

I average between 23-26 mpg out of my M3 and I beat the crap out of it. On a trip to Austin I averaged 28.

My car is an auto, moded, 3.91 lsd, without a tune. I bet with a little work I could hit 30mpg with it.

This is hand calculated as well, not what the car is saying.

BMW would be way more fun to drive then a civic. :stuck_out_tongue: Buy my M3 when you really want a car.

I don’t want an auto, I want to learn to drive a RWD stick at a track.

I would definitely take your wheels if I find a 328i, you’d probably sell it easier on stock wheels anyways.

bump

Found a 5sp e34 530, might pick it up next week if it’s still available.

Would prefer e36 328 sedan 5 sp, or 1.8 NA miata m package though.

Link to 530? Not going to snag it from you I just <3 them.

It’s actually at new era, dropped a friends GTO off for a cam, tune, and clutch.

168k, white, clean body, really clean interior, 5sp. Ricer exhaust tip but I guess it sounds pretty good(V8 rawr)

Haven’t driven yet but it runs/shifts perfect Mike said. Has airbag light on, a shimmy/shake right at 50mph and a sticky spot when turning. Plus the price is stellar.

If it is still there next week when we go to get the car I will probably bring it home. I almost went to the bank yesterday since Tim was with me and could have driven it home.

Damn good for you. I fucking love E34’s so much. WANT!

I sent an email about this one. If it’s a stick I’m gunna check it out. I love black e34 wagons.

Putting off the miata search just for not, probably won’t get one this summer.

Still looking for an e36. I found the perfect 5sp blk/blk 97 M3 sedan in rochester but I’ll spend all my monies on it and I am doing a 7k mile road trip real soon. Also found a 5sp 325 sedan 100k but no sport or cold weather package. There is a 04 wrx auto 120k in wolcott, NY for $5500, needs cats and 02s, I will go get this if I find the time, definitely worth more than the price. I will probably get a 325IS coupe 5sp 150k with cold weather package since it has LSD, a new clutch and the cooling system has recently been overhauled. I really want the M3 but the 325IS will have to do since I can’t spend all my money with the road trip coming up.

If anyone has anything local I can check out I would love to save myself a trip to rochester right now. Taking a summer class with a TON of work, plus working doesn’t leave me much time.

save a little more monies and get an e46

two 2000 323ci’s (yea boo to 2 door, but there are other deals out there) for $6500 (thats without haggling yet!)

323’s suck, less power and more weight.
I don’t like the pre-face lift e46’s.
I’m screwed as far as getting an LSD.
Not a chance, I’m going to look at a few e36’s in rochester this week including a blk on blk M3 sedan.
