E85 Source?

Anyone know of any companies that I could order a 55 gallon drum of E85 from and either pick it up (near Rochester/Buffalo) or have it delivered to my house?

Would be easier than driving somewhere like Rochester and filling up 5-gallon containers.

Thanks in advance…

There’s a bunch of E85 locations around. There was a thread recently listing them all. Search it up.

When I searched, I came across this site: http://e85vehicles.com/e85-stations.html which shows the nearest E85 station 1.5 hours from where I live.

Was wondering if anyone knew of companies that would ship a 55-gallon drum or would sell E85 by 55-gallon drums.

Ah, without a location listed I presumed you were in the Buffalo/Roch area. There are some companies online – I almost did this when I lived in VA. But after running E85 for the past couple years, you’ll be surprised how fast 55 gallons goes if you drive the car regularly. I’m not sure I’d rely on a 55gal drum as delivery charges are quite high for something like that which drives up the price a lot (almost double, from what I remember).

Sorry -should have said my location - I’m in the Corning NY area. I have a VP racing fuel dealer near me and they can get VP drums without outrageous shipping. Too bad they didn’t have E85 fuel to choose from. Then again, I’ve seen some E85 “racing fuel” type drums but the costs are up there with C16 per gallon.

I guess my only option is driving to Rochester with 5-gallon containers (or find an empty 55gallon drum and fill it)… Drive the car very little so 55 gallons should last me ~ 1.5 months even at E85 fuel consumption rates.

At that point I would get a different car

You wouldn’t if you knew what he drove, lol.

well spill the beans…

I thought it was a Supra

Ok then if its so super cool, I would get something more practical for 90% of my useage.

You assume this is his primary vehicle coach!

If he still owns it, I’ll let him answer.

I would have to love a car beyond human emotional capabilities to drive that far and do that much work just to fuel it.
