East Coast Audio Concepts

You are the shop what? HAHHAHAHHAH

hey you guys ever need any airbrush work for fiberglass enclosures let me know.

I haven’t had a fiberglass job over there in almost 2 years. Stereo’s aren’t cool anymore. LOL

LOL I noticed that used to be in top demand back in the day but factory systems have come a long ways along with the internet kinda hurts business

Internet sucks. You can buy shit for almost my cost on there. Factory systems are much nicer than what they used to be.

Why don’t people want to fill the floors and doors of their 1988 Escort with concrete and put 8 15’s in it anymore? :’(

Some people still do, just not around here! Car audio shows are DEAD around here. SLAP stopped doing shows a few years back, the used to have awsome turnouts. I threw a DBDRAG a few years ago at the scion show in saratgoa and had 25ish competitors.

I think its just not cost/time effective for a shop to hold a show nowadays.

ahhh yes Marks escort time remembered classic in my mind. Memory’s sweet memory’s… I miss the good old rattle your car till falls apart. I used to have one of those treo extreme 18" subs with 3000w bridged into it in an extended cab f150.

Most retarded system I had was 4 12" JLW6 subs powered by 2 Alpine 1507 amps running at 1 ohm a piece. It was in a 2-door '91 Escort (first year of the “new” body style)

Most people grow out of car audio, however I recently purchased a 13w7 and 1000/1 and put it in my Corolla. It’s too much really and am considering selling it. I’m sure I could easily break even considering the deal I got on the stuff in the first place.

I may actually have to swing by east coast havent been there in years! Glad they are still around they were always nice guys over there. I was pondering putting a litte stereo in my 55 as I found a brand new jl12w3 in mys tuff from back in the day. that with a small amp will give the tunes a little bass no more vibrating trunks for me though these days lol. whats a decent little amp to run with a single 12 these days on the cheaper side of things. nothing wild just simple to add some lows to the tunes.

thread stuck.:thumbup
