Jesse sort of reminds me of a younger me to a degree as far as what I wanted at 17. I pretty much wanted to buy an 89 Silvia K and gut it like that, and turn it into a drift car. I didn’t care at all about any creature comforts because in my mind 10 lbs shaved is like +1hp, and hp and performance was everything to me. I still know nothing about stereo’s lol. It was like sort of meeting a younger me to an extent. I only had 3500 so I couldn’t pull off the Silvia K dream. Nice to see another young regular dude making it happen young.
I would have killed to have a JDM car by 18 like Jesse and Chris, haha.
I actually wanted to gut my S14 when I bought it. I can live without creature comforts, it’s just the resale value that initially stopped me. Probably better that I didn’t do that living in Peel and all.
