We all know about the SSAUTOCHROME and there products but what about this Advan_racing seller? Kits for for $1300USD. His feedback is showing amazing stuff, has anyone from here ordered there kits?
If you are really on a budget I would only get that if it included a brand name turbo charger. These knock off turbos usually fall apart in a couple of months. As far as the manifold cracking you can always reinforce it if you can weld.
most of that kit is okay to use…
but you have to consider a few things right off the bat.
first off, he is lying.
there is no way that that little T25 is goof for 375hp… genuinie Garret GT28RS is not good enough for that power and its a $1200 turbo.
that turbo elbow is divided = it will hit the steering column.
the gaskets provided are not up to task.
the manifolds dont crack if you install and support it properly. only ones i know of that have cracked are Jesse’s (he hit his downpipe on a curb in Kingston) and Dan’s (he welded an external wastegate on it)
i would suggest buying the good parts seperately and investing in a good turbo and gaskets.
the fmic kit and downpipe are fine… apparently the new knock off bov’s are working well, the ones i brought up 2 years ago didnt work for shit though.
do not use a knock off turbo. either get an OEM T25 off an SR that you know is working well or a brand new one. Do not buy a rebuilt GT series Garrett that was not rebuilt by an authorised garrett distributor. Talk to Farmer, Jesse and countless others about that… everything thinks they can rebuild a GT series turbo and it blows on day 2.
Even theo invested in a real GT2871R for his moderate budget KA-T… and if you know Theo you would shit in your pants over that…
also, you are not tuning that shit off an SAFC… talk to Original Drift Master… his KA-T is running awesome apparently off a biki-rom or something…
darkforcejakal is also running strong.
every other KA-T i know of has gone through multiple motors.

$1300 usd before shipping is like $1600 cdn before you risk customs.
i can give you the test pipe, downpipe, elbow, manifold, FMIC kit for under $1000 cdn shipped.
that leaves you $600+ to find a used bov, an SR turbo and to run lines… fuck that kit.
ahmen. should have listened to you when i bought the mani. had to tear everything apart a week after having it on the road and replacing all the gaskets with oem nissan.
yeah, i wouldn’t bother with that kit. i just finished my t25 ka-t a couple weeks ago for just under $1500…and that included an SAFC2 and AEM wideband.
