But in all seriousness, how much to ‘standard’ 59 Caddy wagons usually go for? I would love to pick one up and do some work to it.

no shit, that was the actual car? For some reason I don’t remember it being that vintage, but it’s been a while too.

pretty cool for a collectors car

Yea, good luck on finding a 59 Caddy wagon/hearse.
You’d have better luck buying the car in this auction.

I say buy it. Everyone has a copy of the time machine from Back to the future but no one has one of these.

I’m slowly realizing this as I look around. Are they rare? Or just really in demand?

59 Caddy is the most famous year. They had the biggest fin.

But classic cars were used in demo derbies or left to rod back in the days. Wagons weren’t collectible. Ghostbusters comes out and it becomes desireable. If it was a 57 Chevy Nomad they based it off, it would be easier, but expensive/

Wagons and sedan deliveries are cool as hell in my book.

I couldn’t buy that, I’d be so tempted to strip it and hot rod the hell out of that.

That car with the windows and doors filled in as a panel wagon, black satin’d out on 18" TT-Ds… ethereal.

a nice 59 Caddy hearse/ambulance will fetch 50k++ especially if its a Miller Meteor (the coach builder of the car in the movie)…

very nice car, I would love on in black however

on a side note I saw this car in person back in 2000 (I even have a pic of me sitting in it) and while its a decent car the rockers are full of glass…

I don’t really want to buy one all built up. I’d rather it be in need of fixing up. That way I can build up the suspension the way I want. Work the body the way I want. etc, etc.

Want something cool? Look for a 55-59 Chevy Sedan Delivery.

+1 Very cool

or a HHR Delivery hehhehe

Side note: Can you get the stripped delivery HHR in the turbo trim?

Not stripped but panel SS,
Panel SS Turbocharged 1SS
MSRP* $25,600.00
