Hey guys I am trying to figure out why my engine light is on I am almost certain that it is the tps that is throwing it out of wack. Anyways i was using the post by jesse on engine codes. I have removed the kick panel to get to the ecu and i am now wondering were the screw is located to read the codes the one i have to turn clockwise. Is it on the back of the ecu side basically do i have to rip the whole unit out to get at it?
Cheers
Bryce

Yes, it is on the back side, you don’t have to unplug it to get to it.
After you have taken it out once, it is possible to do it without removing it… if you are sneaky and can feel around for it, and have a short slotted.
Good luck man.
You don’t have to unplug it just remove the two 10mm bolts ontop and bottom and flip it around.
Check ECU Info on this site:

Hey Adam,
So the post that jesse put up a while back is that not the process to follow? before i do it I don’t want to fuck my ecu up if possible.
Anyways here is the site jesse posted

Theo thanks as well so the screw is located on the back side? I think that is what you mean.

Yes, that is correct.
The link is not working for me but I have a '97, so it is OBDII, whereas you have OBDI so I will let Adam take this one.
