Yesterday I did a Car and Driver Editor for a day program at the Mellon arena. They set up two small “autocross” tracks and did a comparison test between the Cadillac STS and BMW 530i and the CTS vs. the Lexus 330. It was an awesome experience, getting to beat on cars that you don’t own. My favorite car of the day was the STS, probably because it was the most powerfull. The BMW handled better, but the lack of power compared to the STS was noticeable. I don’t think I would ever buy the CTS or Lexus, they didn’t impress me at all, but I was able to slide the back end out with the CTS.
Overall, would love to do it again. Hopefully they will come back next year with soome sports cars.

I signed up for something on Mazda’s website and I get to beat the shit out of RX-8’s and Miatas in November…
I found out from a friend who subscribes. I guess that it came in his magazine. When I signed up I checked the box that asked if I would want to be notified of any future events. If I hear anything, I will post it.
