I found this on another forum, and it seemed pretty interesting. Some guy went to a chicken processing plant and took pictures and videos.
There is some GRAPHIC CONTENT so be advised before continuing. Did you think that killing chickens and preparing them wouldn’t be at least a little graphic and bloody?
First: Truckloads of cages full of chicken are delivered to the plant. These are empty but you get the idea.
This little guy got away and roamed free for a little while.
This guy takes the chickens out of their cages and hangs them upside down to begin the process.
Right Click, Save As to see him hang them!
While upside down they get passed through some electrified water to knock them out.
They then get bled.
Right Click, Save As to see her bleed a few.
The chickens then get passed through 138.2F degree water to loosen the feathers.
Right Click, Save As to see them go in.
Right Click, Save As to see the, get ready to be feathered.
Going into the feathering machine.
Right Click, Save As to see them get feathered.
Another feathering machine to get what the first one missed.
And yet another feathering machine.
Right Click, Save As to watch them come out squeaky clean.
Right Click, Save As because now they get turned around to clean their legs.
So clean!
