What difference does an EPROM “fast chip” if any actually make?, they run about 8 bucks on ebay and it sure advertises a lot but do they actually do anything
I have not looked at what you are talking about. But I would save your money for something else. There are ways of re-programming your ECU, but it needs to be done based on the mods you have in your car. To use this chip or any new chip, it needs to be soldered into the ECU.

They can, but your car needs to be tuned in person to see the best gains. I wouldn’t trust an ebay chip anyway. There are more reliable types like Enthalpy that will do a chip for you based on what mods you have but they’re more expensive and they leave a safety buffer in the tune so your engine doesn’t wreck itself (ie: they run pig rich and therefore you aren’t seeing your best possible gains).
