i didnt see you today, but i think i heard you going up 87. forget what time it was, probably around 7
tore up what was left of the stock clutch last night. picking up an rps 6puck tomorrow… no more clutch issues. :
Travis why, puck clutches are garabage, and they way you drive it would last a month… Just get a dual friction staged clutch
$$$ he doesn’t have, plus he’s getting the RPS for cheeeeap. :nod
werd dooode surpised he aint askin me 2 help put it in yet lol
I’d help, but jeff dropped his trans on my hand when I did his on saterday… im good on trannys for awhile
oh really. care to explain why?
“dual friction staged clutch” only dual friction i know of is Centerforce and they are junk… what makes it a dual friction is weighted fingers on the PP and when inertial mass increases they increase clamping loads, so you get the grip of a standard clutch without the harshness commonly associated with heavy duty high grip, usually pucked clutches…
pucked clutches do not suck, you just dont know how to, or arent comfortable to drive a car with one… i have a kevlar/ ceramic 6 puck, sprung center, with a 475lb/ft rated pressure plate… its more than adequate and its not harsh at all. FYI i have 20k miles on my “garbage” puck clutch and it hasnt begun to let me down.
wut are you retated puck clutches were made for doin what trav does in his car they may suck if ya cant drive but outside that there good :stfu
word. i basically said that in a nicer way. pucked clutches are known to hold more load than full face disks, unless we are talking twin plates or triple plates, which we arent
i know im a asshole why didnt ya show last night i was lookin forward to seein ya :naughty :giggedy
