No joke. I thought dealing over the net would be “iffy”, but I knew 3 different people who did it with success, so that’s what I did.
Fully guaranteed, shipped FedEx and YOU have to sign for it. They give you 30 days to send it back for any reason.
In my 30 days, I had it appraised independently 3 times to be sure, and the lowest appraisal was still more than double what I’d paid for it.
I managed to get the rock that made her proud, on a budget I could afford at the time. Same money at the Clark building would’ve gotten .5 carat less in a more flawed and 1 color level more yellow stone. Plus, I got a platinum setting that would’ve been off the hook expensive at the Clark building.
Isn’t it funny that the one time any guy doesn’t embellish his salary is when the jeweler ask what 3 month’s salary is? Then, we’re all like…“ummmmm, 'bout $2,000 if I work overtime”…
Anyhow, at least check it out. I did all the Clark building stuff, and even did New York since I travel there for business a lot.
nothing came close in price to bluenile.com for the same quality, size, cut, and color.

Thanks for the advice guys and girls. I already picked one up and its the one she picked out, so I know she will like it. Now I just have to find a way to ask her that she wouldn’t expect. She already has the entire wedding all planned out.

I will post pics of it when I give it to her. (I know she is on here keeping close tabs on this post thread)
