EPS file help!

I am in need of some graphic files. The car is getting all of the graphics put on it this week and we are having trouble locating an EPS file for the grill, head and tail lights. I can not buy the full scale grill, head and tail lights packages b/c the car is only 3/4 size. so i need the file so i can scale them down.

huh?

what do u need?

i need an EPS file that has the grill, head and tail lights, so i can scale them down to fit my car. they are decals that look like a grill, head and tail lights.

i understand, but where do u expect me to find those as they are probably not royalty free.

find them for me and ill convert to EPS

Adobe Illustrator can create a EPS. You can feed it a PDF or quite a few others.

i dont know enough about this to give the correct answers. I just know i need an eps file that can be scaled down.
here is a site that i found a couple good pictures. but i dont think they will work.

find me the images (.png/.jpg/gif) and I can convert them to a vector format for you

the larger they are, the higher quality they’ll be

You will need it scaled up and not down considering this is for print.

Does it need to be from a specific car? They make them for Impala, fusion, Monte Carlo, etc.

Here’s a link to graphics kits designed for cup lite cars. 6 different models to choose from.

all those pictures are worthless. For this to print well, 1 headlight image should take up your full screen at 100% zoom.

The real problem at hand here is that you need graphics cut for these, and need files to have Nick cut/print them. This means you need vector or high resolution raster graphics. EPS file format doesnt really mean shit, as it can be an EPS and still be low res raster.

It is likely impossible that you will find vector images for these, and unlikely that you will find raster images with enough resolution.

It is pointless to have someone “convert” a JPG/GIF/(any raster) image into an EPS, since it will still just be a low resolution file with an EPS extension.

I think your best bet is to go with one of the kits from the link Jager posted. I know Nick could probably do it cheaper, but without the correct graphic files, it will end up looking terrible.
