I know if i keep it in photo format, its going to look like shit and be all pixelated…
It can be made to look like a sketch, tiles (mozaic), black and white, etc etc… i dont care, i just dont want it to look like garbage… ideally its going to go into a large frame 30x24? or so (whatever size frames come that large without having to be custom done…) … anybody want to try to help me out or give me some advice id appreciate it.

I can mess around with the shapes and roundness of the color blotches too. Can go either more picture like or more painting like. But the more picture-like you go, the more it just looks like a blurry photo. Can be resized infinitely.
That looks worse than actually pixilating it by blowing it up.

well right now the image is roughly 8 x 11…so you’ll need to multiply it by 4ish.
hmmm what if u did it and turned it into the “sketch/drawing mode” maybe black and white only…

It’s a vector file, you can scale it to any size with no distortion.
I’ll mess with it and post up what I get. Can’t you just get a higher res picture from the photographer?
edit: its just going to look stupid as a"sketch." Tried it a few ways and nothing looked good enough to mount on a wall.
personally I might just go with something like this if I had to have something and couldn’t get a better image.

Both look sweet. Definitely a better outcome than blowing it up and being pixelated.
anyone else care to take a shot at it… i really enjoy those too… i wish it was taken with a hi-res camera… i’ll have to try to dig up the original… its definitely not on the computer though
that is a pretty out of focus picture to blow up much. you don’t have the original?
