Hey everyone, after working on the car tonight I have a question for you all who have done the swap.
The Evap Canistor by the drivers side headlight, can that now be removed or do you need it for the Sr?

My insurance company just told me that they are on the
look out for Illegal SR Swaps with removed Emissions Units.
why would they tell you that? did you ask?
No, I called for a quote today and She asked me if I have installed
an SR20DET Turbo Intercooled Motor? Im like wtf? She said ya, we
have a strict policy against mod’s blah blah and they will be spot
checking all imports this season. And if you have an “Illegal” mod
your insurance will be cancled on the spot.
The SR doesn’t have an EGR system. What hits against the steering column is the AIV tube. I fail to see how they can give you a ticket for not having this system if you’ve passed the e-test. But nothing about emission cops and crap like that makes ansy sense anyway…
