even im starting to become a spelling / grammar nazi

first off, this:

needless to say, we took the elevator, because it sounds like the stair results in a long drop … multiple small stairs > one big stair

the same parking ramp had a sign at the exit that included the word “traffice”

and today i saw that radio shack is having a “limitited time” offer on their cell phones … i had to say something about it when the sales man asked me “will there be anything else today?”

the blank stare i got makes me think he was the one the made the sign

its okay there was a sign on an electrical panel at school today, A COLLEGE with a sign that said “donnot touch panal thanx”

One would think that one would pay extra attention to their own spelling and grammar in a thread criticizing the spelling and grammar of others.

my spelling and grammar have improved ALOT the last 2 years or so

im sure if i was making signs i would be much more carefull :stuck_out_tongue:

careful* unless that was your joke.

i intended to leave the “e” out also, but i failed at that …

Stair is also a plural. So the sign is correct. “A winding stair.”

I’M

“a lot” is 2 words.

I was going to say the same thing.

one of the better back fire threads in a while
