honestly, i dont think i am going to, im thinking about spacing the wheels out again, getting decent tires and raising my car up some… give more of a sleeper look.
I thought you wanted my wheels?
Yeah it def. has got the sleeper look as it sits now, i like how it looks lowered with the stockers on it.
for a 1.8t bottom end, all he needs is a set of rods, new rings, and new bearings. hell be good to go. his stock pistons are made by Mahle and have see over 500whp… i paid 360$ for my Scat H-beam rods.
i do but they are still an OEM wheel…
he said, she said what?!??!/1 (isn’t that a song) if you wanna know the full story, just ask. i’d be more then willing to tell you.
mark, you can’t even tell a difference from a 28r to a 30r, or even a k04 to t3/t4… which is what you thought i had when i had the t3/t4 that i blew up which is for sale currently.
car comes back from the body shop tomorrow ;D
i think im gonna do a pump gas, street tire, low boost run saturday… 15.3@108mph is my guesstimate :confused
oem bbs wheels ftw
then why is it every time I asked a question about putting a 30r on my car he jumped down my throat and told me that if I didnt redo the whole bottom end minus the crank then my car would blow up? hypocritical much?!
joey told me you had a ko4 and I believed him, I never saw your old turbo in the car, I still have yet to see your old turbo now even though its blown
because YOU have an AWW motor. 19mm wrist pin rods.
well I didnt know that there was that much of a difference in motors, he could have simply told me that.
Because, Pete knew that you had no clue so we were telling everyone, including you the first time we took his car out that it was a Ko4…I knew what it was.
ok let me try and explain this… the FP Green has an internally gated 49lb/min compressor wheel with a 3" turbine inlet and an 8cm^2 exhaust housing with a thrust bearing chra… the 3076r is an externally gated 52lb/min compressor wheel with a 3" inlet and .82 hotside and a ball bearing chra… the .82 hotside is MAMMOTH compared to the tiny mitsu exhaust housing. bigger wheel and bigger hotside = tons more potential… not to mention faster spool and better boost control with the external gate. the 2871r is smaller than the fp green and the 3071r is bigger… somewhere in between…
picture a mitsubishi 20g turbo on crack… the 20g comes with a 2.4" turbine inlet, 44lb/min compressor wheel and can be had with either the 7cm^2 or 8cm^2 exhaust housing… fp green is basically just a bigger wheel stuffed into the same cartridge.
the only reason i jumped at ya was cuz your car was running like ass, its better to do maintence shit like you were doing the worrying about a 30R like i was when my maintence shit was up to snuff… for now :lmao. i was just trying to help you out not throw ya under the bus. ya dig?
if you wanna comeover and see it, its sitting on my garage counter.
AEB engines have no VVT 20mm rods and big port heads
AWD have small port, no VVT 20 mm rods
AWW have VVT, 9.3:1 c/r 19mm rods, small port
AWP have VVT, 9.5:1 cr and 19mm rods, small port
the 3076R comes with the 4in anti surge inlet… you can get the hotside in a .63 (which i have) or the .82 hotside which swifty has.
travis, GT3076R comes in a few different turbine housing A/Rs .63 and .82 being the most common, but you can also get them with an HKS .73 a/r T25 housing
I’m sure I’ll see it sometime, that is if you let anybody into your house :rofl I did do maitenance shit, thats fucking all I did I did maitenance, then more, then more and now im god damn sick of it and I’m getting somthing that isnt a complete pos and I can actually have fun with, on the plus side I did learn alot from this car, end of story for my car. :headbang
GT3071R comes in .64 T25, .63 T3, .82 T3, and you can get a .73 T25 HKS housing, 2.75inch inlet, 71mm compressor wheel, 56trim, DBB CHRA, 60mm turbine wheel
you stood outside like a dohdoh and never bothered to come near the garage jeeezzzz
his basement is pretty sweet. and the house is quite nice too.
