But what I meant to convey was I’d rather deal with a recall for knock as opposed to no recall (yet) on a sudden failure.

As far as control loss, suddenly going from wot to closed throttle is alot more likely to cause an accident then engine knock would. Ever race through a turn or curve and completely lift?

yea… but its an evo… and has a shit ton of electronics… a little lift throttle over steer will easily be snagged by the TC the evo XI will probably have electronics to steer the car through the correct line…
