Have BoxerSix make you a heatshild. The ones he makes for 911’s are flat out cool. Is your WRX tuned yet? Or are you running a turboback w/o a tune? If its the latter - your car is going to hate you very soon due to boost spiking/creep.
That Porsche piece right there was ~$150 installed. Takes me about 4-5 hours to make and install it as I said they’re hand formed per-car as each cars bumper curvature is a little different due to age. I’ve never made one for a Suby but can quite easily once I remove the exhaust and template the bumper.
Size and shape can be adjusted per customer liking or requirements…
id get that bit Adam posted
dont buy ricey looking exhausts and they wont have huge excessive openings for raw fuel to come out of
Or the car could be tuned to run properly to prevent a rich condition :stfu
id spend the loot on boxer’s peice.
+1
:bowdown BoxerSix’s custom work
The car is currently running a Cobb Stage II map but will be tuned after the vf39 is installed :ninja
:bowdown Seth @ Moon for the tune :banana
I’ll trade your soot for my melted bumper (the previous owner must have had an angled fartcan on it)

Don’t mind how dirty my car is - someone called me while I was off-roading and I took pictures when I got home.
I’ll eventually buy one of the GT-spec carbon fiber heat shields to cover it up, but it’s not that high on my to-do list (I’m not worried about the aesthetics until I’m done with the performance, suspension, and brake upgrades)
I say for only $150 boxersix’s work seems like the best solution, plus it looks sick on that porsche
I recon that’s the first time i’ve ever heard that from a forum. Aside from my hardcore race customers, Porsche guys, and dediacted returning customers most internet people think my work is over the top in the checkbook dept.
$150 isnt really that much, atleast I dont think so, not when it comes to modding a car anyways
$150 is a steal for that including materials.
thanks to everyone for the good ideas - I think until school is over ill probably take Swift’s advice with the wax/rag technique and after my first paycheck give boxersix a call :ponder Thanks again for the constructive ideas - ill keep you all posted
