EXTREME TUNER CHALLENGE: Brought to you by CSCS

I’m sure your smart enough to understand how things are going to work out.
It’s probably gonna be drift & grip groups going on in time slots. You go on the track for say 30mins, then have some time for cool-off whilst other groups go on the track, just like any track day where they have numerous cars.

Most track/drift days I see are 3-4hrs and cost 100-120$. People dont spend all that time on the track.
I see it as a good deal, if you dont, dont participate.[/quote]

Mike which Tim Hortons parking lot did you see this??

I don’t have a problem with cscs, I just would rather people were honesty to how much actual time on the track you’re going to get.

i think things have been made rather clear on all accounts.

any further discussion can be made via pm.

thanks

GT

So, I am in, that is a great deal!! I just hope the track flows nicely like Shannonville!

That is a really good deal if it is for that much track time!

Count me in.

Theo

you can ask anyone who came to our track day at cayuga on June 4th how it ran. We have never had a problem running the road circuit and the majority of cars dont event go out for the final session. Either cars are to beaten or the drivers cant seem to last.

So then according to greg and krazykoncepts we get, “a FULL DAY”, “over 8 hours” of track time. Just so it’s clear.

…Yeah like any car on here would last 8 hours all out. Having sessions is perfect…I know without an oil cooler my R32 will want some time to chill.

I’m there.

mine probably will

Heh. Might be an '83 Rally car there too

Chris,

what is going to happen in regards to noise testing etc. on the road course. Driftnation was limited to 3 cars on the track at one time last saturday and apparently they test all day.

Last time I was there, I failed their test. However they let me on to see how loud I was on the track. They said it was fine. That being said, I’m going to try and baffle the exhaust for CSCS event. But, whats going to happen if I tow the car all the way there and endup getting kicked off or not allowed on.

tmp is rediculus…

Andrew.

I’ll bring the welder and sheet metal…

You don’t have to worry about spool, so quieting you down should be easy…

On a more serious note, why not find some end caps that fit your exhaust, drill a single hole and make a couple silencers if they say your too loud?

This is true. I too would like to know if we will only run a few cars at a time.
(Not that this will affect me in terms of participating - I’m entering for sure…)

Leo.

Alright… there should be more guys hitting this up! I hear there are very minimal pre-registered entrants! What’s up with that?!

Anyway, the guys at CSCS have told me that there will be another 2 hours open for practice before the gates open! If you’re there early enough, you can be on the track as early as 8AM!

There’s no way you can complain about the pricing, rather you’ll be complaining that you do not have enuff tires. (Unless of course you’re like Vlad, and can bring 4 extra sets somehow!)

I fully support this event and I guarantee, there are going to be ppl watching (sponsors, spectators etc) and everyone should be taking this opportunity to shine. In fact, consider this event the event that I’ll be watching you…

I want to manage a team next year that will hit up the tracks and make a name for drifters in our area, and if you’re serious and “have car, will travel” to different regions to compete, let me know and I’ll watch for you on the track. Consider this the audition.

So let’s see a show of hands and register with CSCS NOW!

anyone who has ever gone to any drift sessions should attend this event, cscs is willing to push drifting to a more public level than any other vendor. Even if your car isnt running, show up and get this Weak ontario community up and running.

Do we need to pre pay??

I think the car show is the same price if you register before or the day of.

:0 Theo thats not very nice!

Theo …did you see the flyers for this event from Driftmania?? :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, I’m not taking a chance on missing out.

  1. Leo (FR Only) ~ I’ll be there at 7am for the early-bird runs
