I miss mine so much. I saw this earlier. Im so tempted but It wouldnt be the best Idea as im going to be in between places to live soon. Ill keep an eye on this though and if I can make it happen ill get in touch

If it’s not a Porsche or a minivan it is not for NYSpeed.

How was yours in the winter?
Doesn’t seem like there are a lot of these for sale used.
If I didn’t have my Gli, I would see about buying it for myself. Cars way nicer then I expected and from what I had read on the Internet.

I live where we have very mild winters and mine was terrible in any amount of snow. Granted that was on stock tires.

Honestly, on stock tires it was terrible. As soon as I threw two 60 lb sand bags in the trunk and some good snow tires on all 4, it was perfectly fine. I mean if you hammer the gas any RWD car is going to fishtail.

As far as the car itself, For the amount of money they cost and how they look, you will be very hard pressed to find anything comparable. These cars, even on stock suspension handle like they are a Porsche on rails that costs triple what one of these cars do. The gas mileage is phenomenal for a 200HP car. I got around 26 city and 30 on the highway with some spirited driving thrown in there quite often. Yeah the downside is that the cars arent as fast as they look like they are, but then again what do you expect from a NA Subaru lol.
The people that rag on these cars and give them bad reviews are the guys who bought the car thinking they were going to get the performance of a Zo6 and fail to remember that it is a drivers car that is still a non turbo 4 cylinder, not a massive V8. My only critique would be wishing that it had a little more HP but the car is so light and handles so well, you quickly forget that it isn’t the fastest. You could always buy one and throw on a conservative turbo kit.

I absolutely loved everything about mine but had to sell it because of my living arrangements but the next car I purchase will definitely be another Fr-s/ Br-z.
