You got to realize that you are dealing with the junkyard build forum aka pittspeed.
I agree it would chill up in my garage until fair weather. most of these dudes think you are more of the car guy or something cause you are willing to destroy a fabulous car in rediculous conditions , when in reality its just plain stupidity.
I have very rarely driven the Evo in shitty weather cause I dont have to got other vehicles for the slop detail. Dont mean I never whipped it around in the snow just not on a daily. But yeah that means lame in most of these dudes books.
That means alot of the forum members here catch wood over buying a POS from the junkyard and calling it a build. Some turn out good most are plain just that junk and never materialize to be shit.
I dont have to drive the Evo in the snow ever. I have a fleet of work trucks that do that for me. I cant earn my money out of the Evo. The work trucks feed me
No doubt I am dumping big cash , But the Evo is very close to being paid in full homeboy. 1 and only owner.
Not much of a kid there Ace Own a house , plus got wife and kids that I provide for. Far from being a punk kid
I would rather drive my car everytime I drive it for fun not because I have to because its my only car.
And the trucks well that comes with the territory of a Family Owned and Operated business. Sucks that you have to work for somebody else and not reap the benifits of own ones own business
I agree tho with what was said. IF i bought something that nice, i wouldnt get it dirty by driving it in the rain all the time
I take time to clean up my car and when its looking nice i dont want to drive it in ANY condition that may lead to it needing cleaned up again. It sucks but thats the price you pay for keeping stuff nice and clean
If i had a car like that id “try to avoid situations like rain and snow” but if i got caught in it, it wouldnt ruin my life.Id just clean it up when i got the chance.Thats y i could never consider buying a barret jackson numbers matching muscle car.Id just buy a clone so i can drive the shit out of it and not worry.Thats y my dad sold is 20th anniversary turbo trans am.It had 7k miles on it and he was worried to even park it out front of our house. After 3 years and 3k miles later he realized he couldnt enjoy it so he sold it and bought a 99 LS1 which hes put atleast 10k on if not more.
used to be the same way with harley’s too. i remember me and my brother riding in my grandpap’s field with our sportsters and going to bike night with grass and mud all over our bikes lol
I disagree. Clean driven cars impress me. I do not enjoy seeing people in beat on piles of shit. But people who go out and drive their car yet every time you see it’s in pristine shape. That’s what impresses me.
its cool to see a ZR1 being driven in the snow, but if anyone on here had one, we all know good and god damn well it wouldn’t see the pavement in the snow. It wasn’t built for it. AT ALL. It would be dangerous and stupid. It’s different than jacking up a truck and then never taking it off road.
