Really makes you realize how crazy things must be today in F1.

Awesome.

isn’t that how everyone starts there daily drivers in the morning now?

One of Newey’s first F1 cars. It may sound odd, but I think the design is almost recognizable as his.

so badass

was that a v8? very cool tho

Awesome video, +rep

I’d love to build something like that

funny I was just watching a few hours of old f1 technology videos last night. video here shows ford/cosworth trying to catch up with bmw/honda /renault in f1 technology in the mid 80’s working on their first 1.5 turbo engine vs their old 3.0l. All the problems they had blowing up motors, and adapting to new electronic engine management.

:bowdown

I don’t see why they don’t just hire Vlad to design the fluids.

because the metal in the engine contracts as it is heated…

Didn’t watch the 2nd vid yet, but even in 1990 (22 years ago) there was absolutely nothing technically advanced about externally heating the fluids.

LOL @ 2:22 in the first video.

$20 to who can identify the laptop.

1960?
