… As for my tune itself, honestly a 30% increase should be 87 horsepower on my car… I would be more then hapy with HALF of that lol… No, my car is actually running again, as much as I beat the shit out of it I cant kill the damn thing lol… I was/am 100% on the motor swap but I did not heard about this f1 tuning shit until very recently… If the tune could get me to over 350whp N/A I might actually just supercharge it as I’d be very happy with 500whp supercharged.
Well if 87hp is 30% then your talkin what a 50whp increase? On a NA car it sounds not likely

yo guys i just got my gran prix F1 Tooned and all i can cay is WOW shit is crazy fast now… feels like it picked up 90hp!! Now i can add 100 shot of NOSS get it f1 tooned again for another 30% shit if i have it F1 tuned 5 times it will just keep multiplying and ill have like 1000 hp!!
30% lighter wallet is all you are getting, ask people who have “dinan” tuning on their e39’s, it’s just not possible to get that much power. You wont even get 10% let alone 30…

Soo you think Autohaus’s 335 was a fake? He dyno’d it stock and with an f1 tune, exhaust and intake and got a 73whp gain… exhaust might have been good for 4-6hp and intake another 3-4, wherd the rest of the gains come from?
his is a twin turbo… the tune increases the boost. N/A you’ll be lucky to see 10whp increase

Not fake, he added exhaust and intake which are usually pretty substantial on a TURBO vehicle… the fuel and timing are probably barely touched, but they add boost pressure because it’s controlled by the ecu. I bet that exhaust and intake alone were worth close to 20whp on their own.
I am just saying, with an ECU as sensitive as a BMW DME that re-learns you will be hard pressed to find ANY (substantial) gains ESPECIALLY WITH A MAIL ORDER TUNE.

im gonna try it just to try it, cant find out 100% unless I actually do it so yea lol… And maybe they lied to me but from what they said nothing is mailed, they said they take out the ECU and work on it themselves. They said the tune should take 1 day which would leave no time for mail.
Please base dyno run, install, re-dyno…post on bimmerforums. That would be a job well done. I’m sure Albany Speed will work with ya for the marketing aspects. That thread will fly.
Already have an apointment at Synapse tommorow at 11 to dyno car stock… Directly after dyno im gonna drop it off at Autohaus… When done, ill dyno it again.

See if you can get some statement in writing concerning the hp claims for YOUR car
F1 gives them a boxed/cannned/pre-done/mailorder tune that they flash on the ECU. There is no work involved and no one actually tunes YOUR car.
