well the F20C engine in a civic converted to FWD…hmmmm sounds cool but I prefer the K20A2 200hp crank or the K24 motor since they make good power and no need to spend more money on custom parts. and those engines boost give great performance. I’d like to see a K20A2 civic a K24 civic and that crazy F20C civic and see which one makes more power and better 1/4 times. I think the K24 would win even though I haven’t heard much on a F20C civic swap.

The F20C FWD could be pretty sick…

Nice about time. I’ve always thought about this. I don;t think it will be that big of a hit. Everyones to hard on to the K-swaps now, now if it would’ve came out a year or 2 ago it would probably be huge IMO.

I agree with that the K motors made a big hit. I’m guessing with proven power and stability with boost people might jump on the F20C swaps.

how about forged internals from the factory would that be enough for people to jump ship? :bigthumb:

I could be completely wrong, but don’t F20C’s make more power than K20’s stock for stock? I thought the F was around 230 HP?

Now, what does a K24 make? Coming from a few of my friends, who are big Honda guys, these are all the rage right now. (K series)

depends on which one but most of them are poop without a k20 head except for the tsx motor the k24a2 which puts out 200-205 at the crank but its got some torque at about 165 ft lbs

k20a (Type R) puts out 212-222hp depending on which car its in
k20a2 ('02-'04 RSX Type S) 200hp
k20z1 ('05-'06 Type S) 207hp
k20z3 (Civic Si) 197hp

but k24 and k20 head is like the b series ls/vtec to a certain extent

K24 bottom end + K20A2 head is pure sex from what I hear.

the k20a2 you are right has 200 hp crank
the k20a no matter what stock engine is 220 hp crank
