not all enthusiasts are created equal.
i sold a cav to an enthusiast who happened to be the brother of the wifes friend

then he took it to the trans shop, they said it was $15, then $500 and special order parts etc…
then the dad calls me and says the clutch is shot, the battery is shot, it needs trans work and dealer only parts…
end of the story is i gave them $300 to save a friendship and avoid the hassle.
(I offered a 100% refund BEFORE it went to the shop…)
