Fashion Thread: Kicks, Booties, Footwerks

super sheen, but I wouldn’t be caught dead in those. I’m a more “classic” style kind of guy. I don’t like to stand out.

I’m not saying that those shoes aren’t worth it, but, my whole gripe with them is they look like everyother pair of black shoes you see. I’m not saying that I want green alligator skin shoes, but, I’d like them to be a bit more unique.

Sorel’s, got these last year. Awesome for rain and snow and you can wear them everyday.

Someone hook me up to a local shop to pick up some nice black interview kicks. Budget minded as i don’t know where I’m gonna end up and what the dress code would consist of.

EDIT: somewhere local to the surrounding realm of Amherst

just go to the outlet mall in NF… Check out Saks, Cole Haan, Brooks Brothers etc. etc.

word. thats perfect and even closer.

My feet are straight up flat and wide, like paddles. All of these fancy shoes crush them, or get stretched out and look like shit. I stick with my $50 disposable skechers-dockers for work and am infinitely more comfortable.

I had a pair of Dockers shoes that split apart within like 3 months. I know a few people have the same sketchers shoes that I have (I think Fry does), that are comfortable and look pretty good. Usually I go to DSW in the Galleria mall, currently I’m rocking a pair of Cole Hann slip on shoes. Not overly crazy about the look but they are easy to get on and off.

yeah man, last time i was there they had 60% off awesome suits at Burberry and 50% of everything in cole haan… too bad the outlets dont have anything good from cole haan, just the shyte.

Saks had 25% off shoes and 50% off clearance shoes with some decent stuff in there at random.

I like the Skechers ones because they have the boot bottoms, so I can walk through my snowy/icy parking lot without busting my ass. With my fancier loafers with the flat bottoms it’s considerably more of an adventure.

sorry but i still can’t get past the fact that your 20 month old was still breastfeeding. Hope you have a “long titties” fetish.

I have a a couple pairs of Louis Vuitton’s that have lasted 5+ years so far and are still the most comfortable, best made shoes i’ve ever worn. Sometimes price = quality and comfort.

EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW 20 months old!!!

What size are you… I have a pair of unworn black 9.5 bass slip ons.

avg around 10.5 +/- a .5 depending on brand.

For those of you who don’t think a pair of nice shoes can last a long time… real “build” thread

holy shit, that’s some great craftsmanship right there

Very impressive…

I’m going to be going up to NAPOLI’S in Amherst to check out their selection of Allen Edmunds. I have been meaning to for a while now, but since it’s my birthday, I’m gonna splurge a little bit.

Was just there… they don’t have much on the floor, nobody that sells them does, but they have a catalog to look through.

Sucks because I always want to see what the shoes look like in person and how they go with what I’m wearing. I tried on the shoes from Santoni, Bruno Magli, and the Allen Edmonds… some styles were nice but they didn’t offer much with a leather sole. If I’m spending $400 on a pair of shoes, they are not going to have a rubber sole that’s for sure.

just got my allen edmonds in… man, i’ve never worn any before and these feel really really nice.

not happy with one of them though… i am a 9D and i picked up a 9EEE because they looked interesting… if anyone is a 9EEE and interested give me a holler!
