Kids are human. Humans take advantage of everything and anything they can to get ahead. Thats life.
Countering this and making someone say “I cant fuck with that guy/gal” is about the only way to get into someones head enough that they “respect” the other party and cut the shit.
Damn well know the daughter didnt see that coming, so chances are she is now like “Holy fuck, he got me good on that one” and will cut the shit. Same for the other kids, coming to her house to hang out, bet your ass they wont fuck around for fear pops one up’s them and sets them straight.
Same shit adults deal with. You will get walked on in the professional world if you cower and act like Milton on office space. Grow a pair and stand the fuck up.

Can’t call it yet, but I’d say -5 for the dad when he buys his daughter a brand new computer after she stops being a little shit for 6 months or so. You know as well as I do that its going to happen.
