true but many people will run a 12:1 piston and shave the head to get the increased compression this is to get the point of spark deeper into the compressed zone for better pop and flow…

later to add a turbo you add a stainless steel .040 or .060 gasket and you have effectively dropped your CR to 9:1
this is highly turbo / boost friendly by comparison
AND
you can now retune MORE easily than with just an all motor setup…

also you get the added benefit of knowing that the weakest part of the build is a $100 gasket…and not a rod or something dangerous
