Boosting VQ35DE ftw, who can say no to 11:0 CR and TT ANDDDD reliable?

Oops, CR is 10.5

oh ****
lol
i jsut put the RB Bible back T_T … ill check and edit it in the morning

true but many people will run a 12:1 piston and shave the head to get the increased compression this is to get the point of spark deeper into the compressed zone for better pop and flow…

later to add a turbo you add a stainless steel .040 or .060 gasket and you have effectively dropped your CR to 9:1
this is highly turbo / boost friendly by comparison
AND
you can now retune MORE easily than with just an all motor setup…

also you get the added benefit of knowing that the weakest part of the build is a $100 gasket…and not a rod or something dangerous

im a S/C guy for streetable reliability…
my street cares will be S/C’d
any track car that I build I would build with the cheapest to replace most boring generic stuff

like ka24de instead of anything JDM or exotic at all…I AM THE ULTRA CHEAP SKATE when it comes to a track car…all fun no mortgage

ka24de TT
i’d to that with a reground crank so I could run chev 350 rods or something
and sleeve the block to run chev 350 pistons
depending on the stroke difference this would make the ka24de
a ka28.5 TT

pistons are as follows
good for 350psi, flat topped, $2.00 each
gapless high compression rings $2.00/piston

stainless steel sleeved block…cylinder walls good for 1500 hp!

or better yet rods and pistons and rings from a turbo diesel car…
like a european TDI audi…
diesel compression ratio’s are around 25:1 …i bet those are good rods and pistons!!

hahah yeah seriously .
