Lookie what I found - my favorite stretch of road on Youtube.

I drive on that every morning on my way to HVCC. Adds a little excitement into the morning commute, that’s for sure. :nod

Funny you mention that Vlad…

Here’s the infamous Tracy Road on YT as well

We had a heck of a ride on Tracy Rd. at the first Moon Dyno Day…Byron’s STI chansed by Adam in the 965 chased by me in my STI…then miles back to the rest of the pack… :crackup

At 1:31, if there was a car in the opposite lane he would have bought it.

Big time …

I drive this road to goto delhi for deliveries, This section through summit is pretty nice, and I bet will be nice during peak fall season.

Yea that was a hell of a good time. Me driving the 965 like the C2S in my signature :lol Then airborne. Then stopping at the end with you getting out of your car all sweat brow and stuff. Definitely not a road for the weak stomach. I think my buddy Dave shit his pants when the ass end of the car lifted and stepped out at ~80mph over the hill :excited

Yessir. From everything I’ve heard the rider is actually a decent rider but in the video he just couldn’t hold a solid line at all.

vlad,… no Ggrandprix? ? lol

Rt 17 in VT is a must for a bike…this is on a SV650

Mt Lemmon …1 hr south of phoenix

we are a LONG ways away from phoenix

Spent today and yeaterday driving the whole route 2 all the way to MA, it is simply breathtaking around this time, and if you can managed not to stuck behind someone doing 30 it is also very fun. Hit the BFR a few times, thats was fun. :excited ;D

“Hawk’s Nest” Route 97 Port Jervis (15min ride from me). Twisty and breathtaking. I don’t have any pics myself, so I stole these from the web :-D. This road has been used in many car commercials and if you’re ever down this way, definitely take it.

damn I’m gonna have to go there…

heres route 2

The section between R22 and R7 is really fun, that is if you are not stuck behind a bunch of cars doing 30.

You pretty much want to go from either end, do a u-turn, and go back. It’s that fun. I used to head this route everyday, twice a day from my house to C-town. There are a few sections where gravel/rocks get kicked into the road from the shoulders, just as a warning. In the winter, it’s even more fun to see how many people try to make it up the Wilton side, and just slide off the road. Either way, I have seen quite a few ‘messy’ accidents on this road as well, just to keep in mind.

Has anyone read this? An article by Autoweek: The 50 best U.S. driving routes.

–Once you get out of Manhattan, New York offers lots of good driving roads. One is the Taconic State Parkway, which you can pick up about an hour north of the city in Westchester County. Built from the 1930s to the early '50s, it has the look and feel of a WPA project. Narrow lanes are bordered by Armco on one side and granite walls on the other, making the diving turns in Dutchess County a thrill a minute.

–North of New Milford, Connecticut, Route 7 is a relatively traffic-free two-lane blacktop that winds along the Housatonic River clear up to Vermont. The stretch between Kent and Lime Rock affords more smiles per gallon than most public highways. Towns such as Great Barrington make nice pit stops, but this road was built for driving, not shopping.

–The Champlain Loop circles the lake it’s named after and is almost equally distributed over Vermont and upper New York State. Start in Westport, New York, and travel down Route 9N/22 to the bridge that takes you into Vermont. Follow Route 17 to Vergennes, then stay on Route 7 to Sand Bar State Park. The Loop is well marked and will bring you back to New York’s Route 9. The road through Mount Philo State Park has more corkscrews than a wine shop. The Loop is about 200 miles in all.

did that last weekend, stuck behind some ass clown in a caravan who rode his brakes the WHOLE way down
