I gotta find a new place to host my cracked gmail app files now
I’ve watched a handful of movies hosted by them,it was a decent site with the exception of the 72 minute cap on free videos. I’m shocked that TPB isn’t down, they have some good tweets.
 Cyber war
Some kids are running a DoS attack agaisn’t some public facing not very important websites…Hardly a cyber war
Great taste in cars.
You can’t take down these sites. There is backups and them arresting people will still allow the domain to get back up. MegaUpload/MegaVideo is already back up.
Start Megauploads move to somewhere that won’t extradite you(Singapore)
win
Kim won’t be going on the Gumball again anytime soon…
Just kind of crazy that the US seized a Dutch citizen in New Zealand over a copyright violation claim. If that doesn’t scare you then you probably don’t understand it.
Singapore? What are you gonna do, run it off a cable modem? Lol.

The battle between US authorities and online powerhouses has taken another turn, with activist network Anonymous claiming responsibility for an attack which brought down the FBI and US Department of Justice websites.
Anonymous says it launched a denial of service attack to cripple government and music industry websites in a protest against an FBI crackdown on popular file-sharing website megaupload.com.
The two government sites were up and running again after several hours.
… These are hardly not very important sites at all :picard:
Yeah, this is extremely irritating. Gizmodo reported megaupload accounted for 1/4 of all corporate traffic, even more than dropbox. US needs to focus on the US before it starts fucking with other countries. They also shouldn’t be allowed to internationally fuck with things.
btw
I said live there lots of places to host content
This isn’t crazy at all. Read the indictment: http://www.scribd.com/doc/78786408/Mega-Indictment
We’re talking money laundering and paying people to contribute copyrighted content knowingly, copying video from users on YouTube and bringing it over to their website, etc.
We’re talking US banks, servers, citizens.
This was done through due process over time, not some SOPA-style kill switch. This is far from out-of-the-ordinary even considering the international nature. Same methods used to take down organized crime for some of the same reasons.
Running a lame denial of a service attack isn’t a cyber war…they’re sending traffic to websites that don’t do anything useful.
Everytime Anonymous does this lots of idiots get busted because they have no idea what they’re doing.
and per the article “The two government sites were up and running again after several hours.”
lol nice
Merged threads.
Well every country has different computer laws about the internet…
What if Germany went after you over some graphics on this website? lol then hauled you over to Germany
