Are you out of your mind? NYS is broke because it doesn’t tax enough? Not because it spends too much? WTF?!
Who are they going to tax? The wealthy? The top tax bracket is already 38% Most of your super wealthy people are Corporations sub section C, which makes them subject to tax at the corporate level and the personal level. So you know what they do when they get sick of being soaked? They vote… With their feet, just like the population of NYS has been for the last 30 years, except the Corps leave the country and take their jobs with them. That sounds like a great way to improve the economy!!! You fucking libs are clueless about how economics work.
Its funny how you can segregate people politically based on their eduction. Look at any college campus and the faculty will be heavily weighted towards the left. With the exception of the history and economics departments. People that love to deal in theories and philosophies think socializing is great yet people that actually deal with the way polices work in practice lean Right.
