Saw this posted on another board. This has got to be the best reproduction EVER made my ANYONE in the world. It looks 100% accurate in every way to the original and at 1/20 of the cost of the real thing. I absolutely love everything about this car with the exception of the blue bits in the interior.

Pretty standard. This is more of a factory build than most replicas. Tons of guys do these on 240z chassis.

you should probably go through and read EVERYTHING in the eBay add. The guy built the motor to factory specs from the ground up along with the trans and everything using sand molds. The amount of time that went into this car has got to be astonishing.
I did read the auction, did I say that this one was based on a 240z? No, I think not. There are a large number of people in the classic car community who do this type of rebuilding (and or restoration) due to the lack of available parts. In THAT community, this is pretty standard fare.
looks nice, but i would rather have the real thing. i dislike imitations, no matter how close/great they are.
its knowing that its just not the real thing that gets me.
According to the FIA, it is close enough, which is plenty good enough for me knowing how picky the the French are.
fair enough, i just dont know if i could live with it.
