we went to pick up the new toy hehe

its a shame that you try so hard. you post and post hoping ppl care about your life but in the end no body does. so you keep making posts anyways about your life just to talk to yourself
new or used?
Looks like a freakin train engine! lol I’d say used, '91?
Former NYFD engine
sweet…looks nice!!
That is awesome! Can Pittspeed members testdrive it?
V6 detroit turbo Deisel :boink. no test driving but next party at my firehall we’ll give out rides lol…
we just got done workin on it all day, we never shut it off the whole trip back, even when fueling it up we never did. but when we backed it into the garage last night and shut it off we never could restart it… so all day today we were takeing the old vinyl off and replaced all 4 batteries and alternator…now it starts up and runs like a champ. the turbo is about the size of my head
i think its bigger then the turbo on our 98 E-one thats shown in the pics above… we’re leaveing “Tin Man” on it and putting a small vinyl above it that says “in memory of brooklyn FDNY” it is used… 25000k on the dot but it has alot of engine hours since it was FDNY back in the 80’s, its an 81 American Lafrance but was restored in 1992.
here is the before picture
heres after restore
its a decent sized engine, our E-one is alot taller and longer
the truck is a damn lightshow too :eek4: i’ll have to get new pics now that its getting cleaned up and maybe a small vid of the light show
we’re looking at buying another new truck within 2 years either a 2005 or 2006 E-one Bronto Skylift

really neat truck, 174 foot ladder plus its both a telescoping and articulating aerial ladder with a bucket… perfect for our area.
these are just random pics i found of one and what it can do, i have picture from when E-one brought a demo out for us to place with all day behind eatnpark in bridgeville, i’ll have to grab them later
