Field Investigator

The company I work for is looking to hire an investigator in the Buffalo/Rochester/Syracuse are. Currently the position is slated for part time only, but this will most likely turn into full time before the heavy summer season. The company mostly deals with insurance fraud but does dabble in other areas.

  • Average driving of 2500 miles a month (paid per mile)
  • Variable schedules (mostly early am starts)
  • Expense reimbursement
  • 6 day work week (almost always half days on Saturday rarely a Sunday)

Pay/Benefits

  • Hourly wage paid weekly ($14/hour to start I think)
  • Medical & Dental after 3 months. Insurance out of Mass not NY
  • Paid drive time & mileage
  • PTO and earned work days (8 days total after 6 months, 13 more after 1 year). Also MASS law is PTO is to be paid upon leaving the company unlike NY
  • Working a Holiday = 1.5x pay AND an extra full paid day off

Requirements

  • Detailed report writing skill
  • Must be independent and reliable (Odds are I will be asked to check on you)
  • Must be able to handle a variety of situations
  • Previous experience in investigations and/or an associates degree
  • Must have a laptop and RELIABLE vehicle

Just a quick run down for now. Any questions please PM me. If you would like to submit a resume please PM me for my email.

sry guy! cleaned out, lmk your email, thanks

as long as this turned into a full time position it sounds awesome.

Pm’s answered/emails sent.

Is a long tan trench coat needed and roll your own cigarettes? What does an investigator do exactly?

If that floats your boat then go for it. You try and get as much info and evidence a you can against someone and hopefully get a fraud conviction out of it.
