I know there’s a lot of BBC Top Gear purists here… but what about the Fifth Gear show? it’s also British… and full of supercars.
edit… it’s on the Velocity channel

never saw it
It tends to focus more on cars than insane stunts, so I enjoy it.

It’s alright. I watched the first couple of seasons while Top Gear was between seasons. I got bored of it rather fast but they’re definitely a lot more factual than Top Gear.
Ive been a big fan of Tiff Needell for a long time
im actually surprised more people dont watch this show
Availability? I’m not sure if it was being aired anywhere in the us until last year. I’ve only recently got into watching it.
ill say that i can still remember watching his review of the 996 turbo almost 10 years ago…
“its one hell of a roadcar”
I grew up in London watching Top Gear in the late 80s and early 90s so It’s like routing for the home team for me.
Top gear is getting bad enough that I almost am starting to prefer 5th gear, but both are getting a little tired for me.
I’m a big fan of wheeler dealers when it comes to British car TV. I really like watching them buy a moderately beat up cool car and get their hands dirty showing you common things that die.
My overall favorite car TV is the entire drive channel on youtube. Chris Harris is the new Jeremy Clarkson (without being a parody), and I love big muscle with all the crazy stuff.
Fast 'n Loud
beards.
that’s entertaining, but way too scripted.
wheeler dealer FTW!
Anything with cars on beats talking to the old lady so I am very happy there are multiple shows to pick from.
I have to say that I enjoy the ridiculous nature and the comedic value of BBC Top Gear. If i wanted to know about the cars, I would google them, If I want to be entertained, I am picking Top Gear BBC over 5th gear or Top Gear USA.
Wheeler Dealers is awesome.
South Beach Classics blows
Classic Car Restoration blows.
Chasing Classic Cars is sort of cool.
Fast N Loud is entertaining and sort of cool…I really like the restomod builds
American Car Prospector is unwatchable
Wheeler dealers is great, and they get fairly granular with the work they put in which is cool.
I have a serious soft spot for FastNLoud, despite it being slightly over the top and scripted.
I would like to be on a LeMons team with the fast and wild guys… now that would be a serious party.
The earliest episodes of Fast N Loud were less scripted and more totally hilarious.
I’m fairly sure in the current episodes, nothing that Tom says is scripted.
Richard is a prostitute. It really grinds my gears that he and Dennis (who’s shirts always have his name on them, in GREEN) claim to have the Cannonball World Record when Alex Roy beat them by about 2 hours.
Desert car kings is pretty leet they build/flip older cars but they keep the prices really reasonable.
Always loved BBC’s Top Gear and 5th Gear. Tiff is great, and Vicki is adorable.
