So lets say that hypothetically I have a file coughporncough that no matter what I do (delete, cut/paste, rename, I think I tried safe mode delete), will not delete because the file is always “being used by another person or program.”
How do I get rid of it?

Wouldn’t be the first time. :whip: Apparently at one point I was able to make it a hidden file, so it’s been chillin there for months. I just figured I’d ask. I think I had this happen once before, but IIRC it didn’t go away until I had to format the drive for some unrelated reason.
It’s probably not in use, you probably managed to remove permissions to it when you were trying to hide it from the woman.
Try safe mode, logging in as administrator.
safe mode… its actually prolly a virus or trojan file or something, and it latched onto a system file and is sending out all of your personal info every day. hahaha.
so log in via safe mode, get rid of file, end.
or, you mounted it as a volume cause its an image file and Daemon tools or alcohol 120 is using it…

i know it works, its a good program 
saved me a bunch of times
its being run THROUGH windows, so depeing on what windows your using 98/200/me/xp/vista, you need to find a DOS boot disk for it, these days you can make the boot disks in floppys or CD’s, go into your bios once you have the disk made and burned copyed made whatever, and its NOT in the drive, find what motherboard you have or if you boot screen tells you, find the key or use the key that takes you to the bios settings, find boot devices and then set the disk you have ‘cd or floppy’ that you made for the DOS only boot disk, and set it to that, if you burned to to a cd
then make the boot device in the bios boot the CD drive as first device, floppy drive, then set the floppy drive as first boot device, but ALSO, before you insert the disk/cd after you set the boot device, find the EXACT location of the file you want to delete, after u have that write it down, if ur not fluent with DOS, google a way or tutorial on finding you way through dos menus and shit,
then boot to the DOS disk and itll be ALL text use what the tutorial tought you (example) c:program file/downloads/ to get to the FOLDER the file is in, once you are in the FOLDER the file is in, WHILE in dos, then use the dos command to delete the file,
its not being deleted because its probably a virus/work/ whatever and it only gets run through the WINDOWS/OPERARTING SYSTEM ,a nd i 99.9 percent guarentee it wasnt designed to run in DOS(the virus) unless its like some SUPER FUCKING CRAZY AWESOME virus, so use the DOS delete command on the file that you learned from a dos tutorial off google or the command if you already know and the file WILLLLLLLL be erased.

if all else fails and you ahte virsuses hardcore, backup ur crucial shit to cd/dvd and reinstall windows and NEXTTIME, get NOD32, good virus software and makesure ur ‘p2p porn dls’ are virus or worm scanned.
