Well after about a year and a half of looking 2 sales falling though I finally got myself a damn house. Was pretty hush hush about it, after what happened to the last one(seller backed out week before closing date) I didn’t want to tell everyone I bought a house and ending up with nothing. Touch further out than I wanted to be but it really doesn’t bother me at all on my drives in to work. Winter might change that but I’ll deal with it when it gets here. Only got a couple pictures was going to take more of the inside but its kind of dark now so I’ll wait till tomorrow to snap some nice ones.
House is out in Java little over 1300sq/ft, mostly hard wood floors, just under 7 acres with 2 ponds. Shop is 24x42 fully insulated and I’m already planning to build a cold storage pole barn since this one is getting over crowded already. Has a 24ft pool which I hate because I know nothing of pools and am trying to cure the green from sitting for over a month as we speak. But house was move in ready only major project is a roof in the near future and catching some bass in the pond out back.
View from the road.
What the inside of the shop looks like day I moved in still needs to be arranged.
And the view off my back deck.
Mowed the lawn today after it has been raining here for about 5 days straight and what a mess but grass was high when we moved in and had to be done. Hopefully next time goes a bit smoother.
Thanks guys Yea its nice out here I dig it. Small town feel for sure neighbors are car guys. Its quiet until I decided to make some noise. Still doesn’t feel real yet haha feels like I’m in a big hotel room lol.
Congrats man. Really jealous of that view and all that land. I’m constantly debating about moving out to the country and getting a place with some land but it would be so hard to give up my 2 mile daily commute. I think we’ve settled on sticking with Williamsville at least until the kid is out of school.
PS… you can always tell NYSpeed house threads by the lack of house interior pictures and the concentration on pictures of the garage. Remember that one guy that listed his house for sale and had more garage pics than house pics?
If/when I leave the city I will be going right to the country(my version is like Clarence/Akron…i know its not real country lol) so I can have some land and a siqqqqqqqq shop.
I miss my short commute and you are smart to stay close. I give up over 1hr a day to driving now. Used to be 15min.
