Finally

Sort of new member - I registered a while ago but was never able to introduce myself because of access problems.
But thanks to Ed and the mods, well, I’m here.

I found this site and lurked for a while. I was interested in the tune thread last year but travel for work killed that. I’m now in for the next one.

As the name says, my car is a 2004 CTSV that I bought in Feb 2004. A few mods - maggie, stealth tune, corsa cat back, UCC short shifter, FG2 shocks, sways, and other minor stuff. I’ve run the car at Beaverun a few times over the past couple years but work and daughter’s wedding last summer killed that for 2009. Maybe this summer will be better. I only use the F1 Supercars at Beaverun - normal tires are Yoko Advans. The stealth tune is way too rich and needs to be adjusted - go Ed Hutchings.

The car lives under cover during our salt season here in the burgh - Nov to Apr. If I get to it this winter, I want to swap out the axle shafts to reduce axle tramp (or wheel hop, or happy a$$, whatever).

I have no good pics of the car. I just took one of the car hibernating in the garage. I know pictures are mandatory for intros but it says that I can’t add attachments yet. Maybe later.

DD is a 2004 G35 with no mods whatsoever. Not even a good coat of wax.

I hope to see some of you guys during the tune seesion in April.

Tony

Welcome, I’m sure I’ll run into you at BeaveRun…sounds like a fun car on track.

LOL Please don’t run into me.
I’d rather we run a few laps then go down 18 for a burger and a brew after a good Flat Out Friday.

Actually the weight and the torque make it tough to control on 11-12-13.
I haven’t mastered it but I’m too dumb to quit trying.
