all the god-fearing law abiding citizens will hand their heat in, while the hoodlums and gangsters keep them and rob(or kill) those poor saps who DO turn their weaponry in.
i personally believe in arming every child in 6th grade and teaching them SWAT tactics so generations in the future will police themselves and alleviate the need for police/swat and/or possibly the military.

some you guys need to stop watching “the wire”, banning weapons is not going to stop people from buying and selling them, it might make it worse. at the same time, it might cut back depending on how hard they crack down on it.
